PEDIGREE
Kelsey was one of the consistent top winning bitches in this country from 1997 1999.
Kelsey had many CCs before her first birthday, and on her first birthday she gained the CC that she need to be a NZKC Champion. Kelsey always gave the big boys a run for their money. With the 55 CCs she won, 35 of them were Best Of Breeds wins as well.
Kelsey won many All Breeds groups and Age in Show Awards.
Kelsey was shown under many Specialist Judges. She was graded Excellent V 8 times, 6 of which were V1
Kelsey had won Best Bitch in show under 4 specialist judges from all over the world. She won a Best in Specialty show also a Reserve Best in show.
We will miss our beloved mad girl, but her legacy will live on through her progeny.
EVERY DAY SHE MADE US SMILE & STILL DOES WHEN WE THINK OF HER.
Kelsey was the second Rottweiler we purchased. She was worth the wait. Now Kelsey was a special girl, she gave us the knowledge of what true Rottweiler temperament was all about. This bitch never stopped for anything. Kelsey was very successful in the show ring, both All Breeds and Specialities. Kelsey was a multi Best Bitch in speciality show winner, multi V Rated (excellent graded), runner up in show winner (Specialty show) Kelsey also won a speciality show under the renowned English Judge Joan Blackmore in 1998. Even when Kelsey was a veteran she still gave her all and gave the younger ones a run for their money.
Kelsey was 8 years old and developed bloat, she recovered very well but sadly a year later she was put to sleep after being diagnosed with stomach cancer.
Kelsey had one litter, this litter produced Jett - CH Donamic Labour Of Love (Our first Donamic bred Champion) also Jetts brother Zahn - CH Donamic Crowded House. Kelsey was not really the Brood Bitch type, she whelped them, feed them for as long a time as we could get her to stay still in the box, then instead for disciplining them she just played with them like she was a puppy herself.
Our hearts still ache for the old girls, but the lesson the girls taught us about unconditional love and loyalty has made us more dedicated to the Rottweiler as a breed.
