About Steve Wasserman and This Web Site

    For those of you who are not familiar with Steve Wasserman, he was a writer of daytime and primetime episodic drama. Until 1995 he worked exclusively with his ex-wife Jessica Klein as his writing partner. Steve and Jessica wrote for "Gabriel's Fire", "Northern Exposure", and "Beverly Hills, 90210." In the 1980's they were head writers for the daytime soap opera "As the World Turns." From 1990-1997, seasons one through seven, they held various high level production positions on "Beverly Hills, 90210." They were given increasingly prestigious positions each one of those seasons. This culminated in Steve and Jessica being named executive producers for seasons six and seven. This is the highest, and most distinguished position one can have in primetime episodic drama.
