Painter - Visual Artist Who is LeRav? LeRav is a painter and dreamer. The universal appeal of LeRavs paintings is borne of his dreams and the inspired ability to translate them into compelling oil, pen and water colored compositions. Working in acrylic and collage, combining agile line with brilliant color washes, illustrates the intriguing narratives running through LeRavs work. LeRav utilizes every inch of the canvas to allure you to enjoy a place that exists between dreams and reality. Critics proclaim, LeRav has only just begun! Le'Rav is a resident of Brunswick, GA. LeRav, a self-taught artist was encouraged by friends to share his artistic talents with the world. LeRav took their show of support and entered his art in several jury shows and festivals. His efforts were rewarded when five of his paintings were unveiled at the 15th Annual African American Artist Exhibit which was held at the Coastal Center of Arts on St. Simons Island, GA. There exists an abundance of verve and spontaneous exuberance for the medium that is captivating and visually compelling." LeRav remains committed to sharing his talent with the world via various exhibits, festivals, special events and television broadcasts. In June 2008, LeRav was featured on Savannahs number one morning television show Mid-Morning Live with Sonny and Jody! and WJCL-FOX 28 and Savannahs ABC affiliate where he was interviewed and his paintings were featured.
