1. Summarize the lecture, and then analyze and evaluate the material while you summarize it. Add your own analysis and evaluation of the material throughout your summary. Type your analysis and evaluation in italics in your paper, and your summary in regular type. Your paper should be a minimum of one (1) page in length, typed, 12-point font, and single-spaced.

2.. Summarize what you have learned from Chapter 1 in Lippman's Contemporary Criminal Law. Add your own evaluation of the material throughout your summary, in italics. This summary should be a minimum of one (1) page in length, typed, 12-point font, and single-spaced. Include specific examples and information in the boxes in the chapter; do not use the "Chapter Summary" at the end of the chapter. Read through the "Appendix" at the end of the chapter on "Reading and Briefing Cases." This appendix will help you understand the cases you will analyze in all the other chapters.
3. Send the summaries in the body of an email or as an attachment to an email to [email protected]. These summaries are due at noon on Wednesday of this week. .
