| What an amazing litter from the dream to the birth and their bright future..I planned this litter since my decision to breed my first Yorkie...Although my plan varied just a bit...the results more than proved wrong any doubts I could have ever had ...Now this breeding was not so easy..I'd made my decision but that was the easy part-- getting a established and successful breeder to welcome a "Nobody" (who had a Okay bitch) with open arms to breed into her well protected and beautiful line... she wanted to help me and I so loved the line and DID have a goal and plan on how to get there...and we had been friends a long time so she was aware of my ideals and ethics, so she agreed ---at least maybe I would quit driving her crazy to buy a dog to show---haha!!! Well the day came and "Bridget" came into season...so here I go ....got my girl out of crate and I thought she would faint --was she looking at a black coat ???--digging away ---NO !!! there it was --blue-just slow coming (that's a good point)--tan was good --structure was good --bigger than she or I liked but she was within the standard...and wouldn't give me any trouble whelping..Now it was my turn to get a difficult decision (what was I saying about my plan---haha) . To the kennel room we went and she told me to simply take my choice ---this choice consisted of 9 beautiful Ch. Males---oh my goodness !!!! I will say --my favorite for my goal was Old Punch....I feel in love with him many yrs. ago and there he was every inch the showdog he always was ...I was so very tempted but one important factor was involved --my husband had given me the money for Stud Service --and he had always loved "Kid" and was set on Kid babies. Even though I wanted that old bloodline and thought it would work well within my plan, ( I would bred to Punch then brought produce back to Kid) I respected my supporter and went home with my bitch bred to "Kid" ... I have never regretted it ...he did for me so much more than I could ever have expected from one dog and in one gen. of breeding...the results were 2 lovely baby girls one of which is "Sydni" the dam of this wonderful amazing litter --- I hope you enjoy the pics and follow their progress throughout their journey in the "show-ring". |
