Other Accomplishments
Don Briscoe's acting career started in New York onstage with parts in Come Back Little Sheba, Friends and Romans, and The Tavern.   In 1969, the Off-Broadway play Boys in the Band starred Don along with Keith Prentice and Chris Bernau from Dark Shadows.  This turned out to be one of Don's favorite roles. 
  Don also acted in
Days of Our Lives as the second Tony Merritt.  He was also in an episode of I Dream Of Jeannie called A Secretary is not a Toy which aired on his birthday in 1967.  He also appeared as a guest in Iron Horse and Jericho.
  Don was also in a few commercials.  He was in one for Camel Cigarettes, Folgers Coffee, and Palmolive Gold Bar Soap.  His commercial for Camel Cigarettes aired during the 1969 superbowl telecasts!
  In 1970, Don appeared in his first and only movie,
House of Dark Shadows, as Todd.
  Don Briscoe is now retired from acting and lives in Memphis, Tennessee.  Though he is retired, he has appeared in a few local theatre productions over the years.
