We've now been in the US over 3 months and we're pretty settled in. Thanksgiving was quiet, we went to Baltimore on Friday and explored the inner harbour which was beautiful. The weather is still really nice and i've been saying al month that I can't believe it could be this good in November. The news has settled back into it's familiar we're so bored heres some cool stuff you can get for Xmas. Harry Potter fever is all over the place apart from all the merchandising there is always some article about it in the papers or on TV. The hype over Ali is getting into gear now, which does look impressive, Will Smith looks surprisingly good. The oldest standing house in DC is in Georgtown and it was built in 1766, that's virtually prehistoric by US standards. I felt a bit homesick yesterday, Iw anted to be back in Sheffield, walking down the eccelsall rd (or into FOPP more importantly!) Baltimore has some great second hand Cd stores though, it has quite a quirky and slightly seedy feel to it around Fells Point and a large polish community for some unexplained reason. The mysteries of America continue...
