Sebagai pelopor hard rock, Deep
Purple sempat memperoleh julukan "Band Terbising di Dunia".
Sepanjang perjalanan karir band asal Inggris ini, sempat terjadi pergantian
personel hingga beberapa kali dan vakum selama delapan tahun. Kendati sempat
meluncurkan album bertitel Abandon pada 1998 silam, namun Deep Purple
masih tetap eksis di panggung rock dunia hingga saat ini. |
