Additionally responsible for procurement in support of new products introduction (NPI) involving management of contract manufacturer's, consignment of material in support of prototype assembly. Lead buyer for a turnkey manufacturer involved with PCB assembly for prototype
and production orders. �Responsible for all purchasing functions within
the organization, including approval of all purchase requisitions and change
orders. �Recommended cost savings through blanket orders, extended lead-
time coverage and LOI agreements with preferred vendors. �Maintained
database integrity with manufacturers part numbers. �Offered alternate

prototype builds through to production based on JIT principles. �Parts

lead-time components, worked with engineering in cross referencing and second
sourcing parts. �Additionally responsible for accounting referrals,
discrepancies and overdue shipments ensuring MRP accuracy.
