Dominique started year 2000 with the new Australian Team iteamNova.com.
His first important race of the season was the Tour de Langkawi, February 1-10, where he had the best result of his team.
Dominique was not able to finish The Paths of King Nikola in Yougoslavia on April 14 because he was frozen and fell after a flat.
He finished 48th at the ZLM Tour, in Westhavendijk, Netherlands on April 20 and around fifty at the Tour of Slovenia, May 7-12 and 22th in Erfurt, Germany on May 20.
Dominique won the Grand Prix Sports Experts, on June 2, finished 57th at the First Union USPRO Championships in Philadelphia on June 9 and fourth at the GP cycliste Espoirs Laval in Mirabel on June 15.

Dominique finished 27th at the Grand Prix de Beauce run June 17-23, 22nd at the International Unica Classic, Austria, July 10-13, the best result for iTeamNova and second at the 2002 Canadian National Road Race Championships on August 10.

Dominique finished 38th at the Tour Beneden Mas, Netherlands, August 31, (UCI 1.3), he was in front for 150 km with a group of 30 riders at the 36th Grand Prix Jef Scherens Leuven, Belgium, September 1st, (UCI 1.3), 28th at the 77th Schaal Sels, Belgium, September 3, (UCI 1.3) and 18th at the Grand Prix Izegem, Belgium, September 5
| Dominique won stage 2 of the Tour de Hokkaido with the Canadian National Team, September 11-16, taking second place at the Mountain classification and third place at the Points classification. |

Dominique ended his 2002 season by races at Kerlesses in Belgium. After a month long break, he was back to training for 2003. He chat with him for a few minutes at the 2002 Gala du M�rite cycliste qu�b�cois on October 20. He was in good shape and great spirit, confident that the discussions between his iTeamNova.com team and Team Flanders would allow him to be in a Category II Team for 2003.
