Introduction
You and your group will be preparing and serving a formal sit down dinner for yourselves and two guests of your choosing.
In the course of this WebQuest you will learn:
About French Cooking
About French Meals
How to balance meals
How to plan a menu
How to pair wine with food
French serving and dining etiquette
How to set a table
How to politely offer, accept, refuse and compliment food.
At the close of this project you will have planned a French style balanced meal taking into account the cost, ease of preparation and tastes of your guests.  You will have paired dishes and wines appropriately.  You will have set a table in a classical French style, you will have served a meal according to the French laws of Ettiquette, you will have written an appropriate invitation and will teach someone unfamiliar with French customs how to enjoy a meal in the French style.  You will also be reflecting on the process and writing a report.
