Square character creators to be identified as I can find the information. Fleshing out by
Dom`ny Mortis.
Fa'Diel Complement:
Adam: Dom`ny. Amity's golem serves her in varying capacities, though
mostly for protection. Adam is not particularly sentient, unlike some
of his fellows who do not appear in this tale. The name for the golem
was stolen from the Monster in Frankenstein.
Amity (Amythest Jumi): Dom`ny/Jasmynne. Amity is a Jumi, one of
the last of the People of Jewels. A former Guardian, Amity assumed
the role of Knight before starting her search for the Jumi's kidnapped leader.
Despite her title, she is far more proficient in magic than swordplay.
Blackpearl (Lady Blackpearl, Pearl Jumi): Square. The former Knight
to the Clarius Florina, Lady Blackpearl seemed to vanish after an ambush by
Alexandra. Blackpearl's skill and hammer were legend among the Jumi.
Bud (the Malignant): Square. This young elf child is the orphaned son of
a third-rate wizard. He trained at the School of Magic in Geo before his father
was kicked out; how his parents met their end is unknown, but he traveled
for some time thereafter with his sister Lisa until they settled near Domina
with Sarielle V. Bud dreams of becoming the great wizard his father never was,
and he believes that learning from the Wisdoms will help him achieve his goal.
Capella: Square. Capella is a wandering monkey that makes his
living as a performer. He is always happiest when he has someone to
watch his juggling act, and he is quite willing to play the fool if it
means more people will enjoy his show. He travels and performs with
his best friend Diddle.
Captain Tusk: Square. Tusk is the captain of the S. S. Buccaneer, 'manned'
by the infamous Pirate Penguins. The romance of life at sea captured this
walrus' heart, and he's too much of a softy to make much of a pirate. Still,
his loyal penguins keep trying to get him into the spirit.
Diddle: Square. Wherever Capella may be juggling, you can be sure to find this quiet,
slow-speaking person not far away. While his friend capers away, Diddle sits like a
silent bump, manning his Victrola.
Duelle: Square. Duelle belongs to the strange race of Onion warriors,
and he looks like little more than a vegetable with limbs. Duelle is jovial and
helpful to a fault. He resides in Domina, where he known as a local
hero, but he does travel about.
Elazul (Lapis Jumi): Square. Another of the Jeweled People, Elazul's multi-hued
stone seems to match his double nature. He cares deeply for his people
and their welfare, but the young Knight expresses that care with a surly
overprotectiveness that rubs most people the wrong way, including his
Guardians. Having lost his former Guardian to hunters, Elazul has paired
up with Pearl.
??? (? Jumi): from Prologos One. Dom`ny/Azrael. This mysterious
Knight has a deadly charisma matched only by his selfishness. Amoral
with a capital A.
Lisa: Square. Lisa is Bud's older sister. The young elf girl is also a
magician, and her prowess is considerably higher than Bud's. She usually has
her hands full reigning in her brother's crazy schemes, and is quite grateful
for the roof over their heads that Sarielle has provided.
Monique: Square. As a Siren, Monique faces fear and discrimination
from many humans due to the destructive power of her singing. Unlike
her friend Elle, Monique feels no guilt about using her talents, regardless
of what may come of it; unlike her friend Elle, though, she's never caused a ship to
sink. Monique lives in Lumina, where she runs a shop specializing in
faerie lamps.
Pokiehl: Square. Pokiehl is one of Fa'Diel's Seven Wisdoms, and thus he is in the
business of knowing a great many things. Like other Wisdoms, Pokiehl has the demeanor
of a Zen master; however he often relents to his artistic side.
Rachel: Square. Rachel feels trapped by her own body; its youthful faerie-like
appearance belies her maturity, and she is often made to feel like she is just a kid.
She is particularly upset with her father Marc, who understands her feelings the
least. She works at a bar in Domina, just across the street from her house, because
her father thought it would make her happy.
Sandra (Alexandrite Jumi): Square. Alexandra assumed the position of Knight to
the Clarius Florina, after disposing of her predecessor Lady Blackpearl. Assuming that
the only way to save the dying Clarius was to make a magical crystal out of the
hearts of her countrymen, she kidnapped Florina and constructed Jewel Beasts to hunt
down other Jumi. Posing in alternate guises as a jewel dealer and a jewel thief,
her exploits in stealing Jumi cores gained wide renown.
Sarielle V: Dom`ny. An orphan from a young age, Sarielle is a great believer
in supporting her community. The people of Domina rallied around her efforts to
improve life in their sleepy little town, and her empathic manner has won her many
friends among them. Best known for reviving student interest at the Magic School
of Geo, she was also responsible for preventing the resurrection of the evil
dragon Drakonis.
Frontier Complement:
Rouge: Square. The great wizard that broke all the rules, combining opposing
forces of magic when he merged with his 'brother' Blue, literally saved
his kingdom and the rest of the Frontier from being swallowed by Hell.
Rouge founded a new Magic Kingdom and Academy on the site of the old one
only after making full certain that every trace of lingering evil had
been eradicated from the caverns below. While he has a commanding seat
on the High Council that governs the Magic Kingdom, he is usually too
busy with the day-to-day affairs of his school to bother with mundane politics.
Sariel V: Dom`ny/Jasmynne. Sariel was among the first set of young
students Rouge took under his wing, teaching them magic in order to restore
the caverns beneath the site of the old Chapel. With the Kingdom
stabilized and slowly growing, Sariel became a professor at the newly
established Academy of Magic; he was only 18 years old. His field of
expertise is the little-understood art of dimensional magic, which he
feels needs much further refining before he can teach anything
beyond the basics. On the side, Sariel is compiling a beastiary of the various
regions of the Frontier.
