| December 20th 5 days to christmas christmas = free stuff!!!!!!! On monday the snowboard crew of Tom and Colin and an unusual participant of daniel and new recriut Jade from America went to the mountain for a summer session. Russell could not drive ther let alone snowboard because of an unexplained illness. The first summer session I rode with steve " the ferg dawg" Ferguson a bit as well a Zeb beall you know the dude who was bored and hanging out.(refer to the last news). The latest session consisting of me, Colin, Jade and Daniel. It was sick!!!! Colin was being all fresh and wearing a head band. Funny as. Colin was stomping big ollies, daniel was bombing shit, Jade was ripping with ollies and frontside 180s of the jumps. I was doing the same old shit just ollies, shiftys, backside 180s. I managed one new trick though. A nose butter to frontside 540 of a bump. Kind of cool but a little bit gay. One of the highlights was spraying one of the asian tourists. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. OOOOoooooo ahoooo hoo. Emma who I work with (BLONDE) was there snowboarding as well. She managed to bring to right footed boots to the mountain.One of hers and one of her boyfriends. As I said before Blonde. But she still managed to ride through the pain (HERO) and have fun!!!!!! Getting to the mountain was interesting as well. Fist Jade left a light on in her car so the battery ran flat. She had to jump it at 5: 30 in the morning. After that little hurdle we got there and had the aformentioned session. On the way back from the mountain colin was driving and made us run out of gas. Not really his fault but who else are you going to blame. Right before Te Kuiti there is a massive hill you have to go up and down. We ran out of gas on the flat just before the hill. Te Kuiti is on the other side. My Urban combat skills came into play and I proceeded to curse the car. My cat like agility let me stick out my thumb in time to flag down a passing tractor. Me and Jade left the others in search of gas.The tractor was super dogee. It was shaking and shit I almost fell off once. He dropped us off in Te Kuiti. We went to BP and were told to get a can of gas it would be $35. We thought F@#K that. that is our gas money. The cool as dude at shell gave us 5 dollars gas a canister and a funnel. GO TO SHELL IN TE KUITI !! We managed to get a ride back to the car with the same tractor guy minus the load of wood. We sat in the much safer trailer on the way back. Colin started the car after a few goes and we rolled into Te Kuiti to the shell to give him his gas can and purchase more fine shell petrol. Near huntly I deared them to let me walk home. I walked about half a kilometre before they turned around and picked me up. They caved. I WIN!!! HAHAHAHA. The crew dispersed in auckland. A good time was had by all. THANKS FOR THE RIDE JADE The Domhouse skate team has aquired a fish eye lens for filming of there new video. Basically every thing looks bigger, faster and better through on of these babys. The new video will be sick. If anyone wants a domhouse stencil to stencil there board Just give me a ring and I will make you one. They look ILL. I have got a WHITE ONE ON A BLUE SKATE BOARD. IT LOOKS SSIICCKK!!. People keep sending us christmas cards and choclates to work for us. It kicks ass!! I nollie nose manuled the mini ramp 2nd try last night and I did 2 pop shuvit nose manuals. Ask daniel. We were going to film but as soon as we turned on the camera it ran out of battery. Good one tom next time recharge the battery. To sum up - Jade, colin and the rest of the snowboard crew kick ass. Actually so do all the domhouse team members!!!!!! DH 4 LIFE - WE MUST FILM WITH THE FISH EYE!!! |
