Hi! It’s me, borabora.
My new nickname sounds like an improved detergent!
Should help me in keeping things clean, though….LOL!
A little about me: Born in Ohio,
I grew up mostly in Kansas City (a Hallmark brat!)
and met my true love in 1978 while majoring in
French and Art at Cornell.
Finally married him in 1991.
We now live in the neat growthwest
(great northwest, for you non-dyslexics!),
otherwise known as Oregon,
with our two beautiful daughters ages 4 and 1.
Every day I thank my lucky stars
(and wonderfully supportive husband)
for the opportunity to stay at home with the
children. They grow up SO fast!
I also am a consultant (glorified
bean-counter)
to one of the largest power utilities in the region
and have the supreme luxury of working from home.
I love to play music, whether via
the stereo or homemade, and collecting
unusual musical instruments has become a passion.
Whenever possible, we pry ourselves out of the house
(no small feat…) to check out some live
music and kick up our heels a bit.
Besides a love of music, I enjoy gardening
and I’ve always been a fanatic about word games.
As a kid in Kansas my life’s ambition
was to be on a TV Game Show.
I thought I was going to get that chance recently
when I made it through Round One of the
“Who wants to be a Millionaire” Show tryouts!
Don’t be looking for me shaking Regis’ hand
anytime soon though….*sigh*…
In the meantime, I get my kicks in
the Dome!
From the very start I knew I had found a home there
and rarely a day goes by that I don’t play.
Its been wonderful meeting the family.
You’ve all been so welcoming and so much fun to
play with.
Playing Acro made me Bezerk,
even when I WON. On the Flipside, it has been a Challenge
surviving such an Uproar.
Where is Joe's Bar,the
FAB2K, when you need it? ;-)
