How I came to name myself Domaris Sky
Domaris is a fantasy novel character from a book I love. The title is "The Light of Atlantis" and it was written by Marion Zimmer Bradley. Domaris is the leading role in this book. To cut a long story short, she was responsible for submerging Atlantis into the ocean.
My best friend joked a long time ago about my habit of having nearly everything one could even think to need in my bag. He glanced into it once and said: "Now, I know why Atlantis got lost, it's probably in there!" Since that day I was Domaris.
Sky is simply the name of my beautiful black dog.
Why I named this site Addicted
Addicted is my condition. I am addicted to Severus Snape. I love the Harry Potter books, I melt while hearing Alan Rickman speak and I can't get enough of Severus Snape centered fanfiction. The measurement of my devotion to Severus Snape is extreme, I'm truly an addict and I don't want to be cured. Who would?
I got my first introducion with Severus Snape fanfiction on a German site www.severussnape.de.vu, I was intrigued. Then I read my first slash story with a RL/SS pairing. I was mesmerized. And thenceforwards it was perfectly clear in my head: Severus Snape is gay! But there weren't many German slash stories, so I begun learning English.
I read almost everything: Slash, Het, Gen I don't care, as long as it's well written and fun to read.
Slash: I like fics with almost every slashy Snape pairing, without Neville Longbottom (Crybaby and Snape? Won't work, ever.), Peter Pettigrew (Disgusting. Should have been drowned at birth.), James Potter (Personified arsehole, a bully without class.) and Rubeus Hagrid (How could someone that big mate with a human? He IS a halfgiant!).
Het: I like only fics with Snape/OFC pairing or with Severus Snape/McGonagall pairing. Snape/Lilly Evans is the exception, if it is a Severitus.
I guess I rambled enough to last for two lifetimes. Back to Main.
