November 21, 2006. Cathy's Blog.
Hmm I haven't been big on posting blogs lately, for some reason. Too tired from just keeping up with everyday life, I guess.
It's such a sad cycle. Every day. Wake up. Taekwondo. Breakfast. Classes. Lunch. Classes. Dinner. Class or homework. Snack. Class or homework. Crash.
And with the realization that we only have 20 days left till finals, and after that, only two more weeks before the school year's over... it's just like, "I spent a whole YEAR at this school already??" It's crazy. Who knew time would slip by so quickly. Next year we'll be taking SATs and SAT IIs, as well as hopefully having a completely renovated schedule..? I really can't stand sitting in class all day long.
I guess the bright points in life come with the relationships I maintain and develop continuously. It seems like such a waste, though, that I only sort of opened up and got to know some people so late in the year. We only have 2 more years now as it is...
And after finals, about 25 people from our school are leaving for community service in Cambodia. That leaves just 12 people in my class, since we have the most people going.. x_x It's going to be very sad, looking forward to Christmas and the end of the year with half of us missing..
Today was better than usual in one way, though. No morning taekwondo, and accordingly, 1.5 more hours of sleep! Though it was a tad annoying listening to the CD skip about 20 times for 5 full minutes---no exaggeration here. But if that's the price for getting more sleep, I'd gladly take it.
