The reason I bought this cel: I am trying to collect a cel of each character in their ships. This was one of the first cels I had seen of a character in their ship that had a ship layer with it. I really liked the airbursh effect and the detail in the cel. Since I bought it, I have only seen one other Spike ship cel that I liked more and it sold for $700. I did not like it that much more. I really do love this cel and it will probably be the first cel I do get framed. Amy from Moonshine cels did a fantastic job on the background for this cel.
In this scene(spoiler)...: Spike is racing towards certain doom while plummeting to Earth. At the last minute Spike is saved by Duhan in his rebuilt space ship Columbia. |
