Venturer Scouts are young men and women between the age's of 14 and 18.

2. Unit Council
Venturers are a self- governing unit, which works alongside leaders, and not being constantly told what to do by them. The unit council is made up of a number of Venturers, which may hold multiple positions on the council. Some of the positions available on the council are: Unit chairperson, vice chairperson, treasurer, secretary, quartermaster, and scout master.
Some Major Camps the Dolphin Venturers Participate in are: Ro-ventures- camps put on by rovers for the Venturers of Queensland, Regional Ventures- Camps organized by Venturer units for the Capricornia region venturers.
Some camps our unit has under taken is working bee's out at the Awonga Dam Scout Grounds, Joint Scout/Venturer Camps, Canoe/ bike hike up through the narrows by cannoe to ramsys crossing and ride back, 3 night hike through kroombit tops national park and much, much more.
