BirdSong

Lying in my bed I awake to see
Goldfinch looking at me,through the window screen
She says"Come with me so that your day may start with beauty"
As I go with Goldfinch,I see all my friends,Cardinal,Chickadee and Sparrow
They tell me to sit down and listen in the darkness of early morning,the song begins
Feel our song in your soul,see how it makes your heart smile
You will never hear such beauty as birdsong
You will never know such beauty as songbirds
I will always thank them for honoring me with their song and serenading my soul
