SL - (03-07-20) Myolie Interview

(about Myolie starting off with Miss Hong Kong, getting TVB's most improved female award...)

Talking about your new series SL, there you work with two partners, one is an old partner-Raymond and the other is a new partner-Sammul. So what do you think about these black and white twins?

Myolie: Actually, I've worked with Ray many times already in EH, GF, and this time many scenes in SL. Actually, I am jealous [can't think of word] of him because other than being serious, he doesn't have a lot of pressure and he is actually a pretty relaxed person. He will enjoy and be relaxed to do things, so when being relaxed to do things it's happier. I'm a bit more nervous, I give myself a lot of pressure. Sammul is a very friendly person. Like many times when we talk casually, we talk alot...






SL - (03-07-20) Character Clips

SL - (03-07-20) Function

This day, a bunch of newly certified lawyers are here to see and play with the audience. Other than being Newbie Kings, they say they can be other kings as well.

Ray: Law's Love-to-Sleep King, that is me. Why? Because filming this series I've been busy, day to night, night to day, so when sleeping it's hard not to snore a bit. Sammul mentioned that it got in the way of his filming.

Bernice: I will nominate Sammul to be Law's Handsome King, because he is very adorable and he wants to get married and have kids.

Sammul: I must choose Juno to be Law's Love-to-be-Pretty King. Why? There's a story behind it. His name is "ching geen", if you put "ching" and "geen" characters together, it's the word "pretty". So it's no doubt.

Juno: I will pick Raymond to be Law's Love-to-Play King because in the series he wears shoes on wheels, he always plays, always rolls back and forth. I think he's a very playful big-boy.






SL - (03-07-13) Ray's Dog & SL Character
Ray: I have a Husky [hmm, I don't know about you, Ray, but it looks like a Golden Retriever to me...], but it's troublesome because it's so hot and it's afraid of hot, so I have to turn on the air conditioner at home. Yeah, even more relaxing than me. Why did I own a dog? I live by myself in Hong Kong, so it's very quiet at home, not very warm & I had some free time so I owned a dog. Most of the time, I take care of it, pretend it's my companion. If I compare a dog that is similar to me? It would be a Husky, because I heard that Huskies have 3 layers of fur, to repel snow & rain, so it's similar to me acting in ancient series. Whenever I do ancient series, I wear at least 3 layers of clothing, maybe more, and both of us are scared of hot weather. To me, lawyers should stick to business, thinking for the clients' sake. But the character I play does not qualify these qualities because he's too nice of a person, so as a lawyer who's too nice it's not good for a lawyer's benefits [sorry, can't quite think of the right words]. Playing this character I had to do some homework because the character is not like the usual lawyer, so even researching may not help me. I researched people around me who are more active, funny little actions that one may do, I start to add into my character. The upcoming ancient series will probably take 4 and a half months, which is a very long time, many actors will go there. It should be very good to watch.

SL - (03-02-02) In Courtroom

Myolie: We're currently filming Files of Justice Part 6, no just kidding. Actually, we're filming Survivor's Law. Several handsome guys, what's special about your characters in the series?

Ray: What's special about me? I'm a lawyer who doesn't look like a lawyer.

Myolie: Actually he (Ray) is a gangsters.

Ray: Yeah, and my hand is disabled.

Myolie: What's special about your character? Anything interesting?

Sammul: Interesting thing is that I can be with Myolie, it's special and interesting. Then I can also be with Bernice too, so it's especially interesting.

Myolie: He gets everything. Ray: Originally that's not what you said. Sammul: What? Really? Ray: Yes. ... Sammul: No, if we keep going on like this we won't finish talking even in a few hours...

Myolie: Hey, it's my turn to talk. Ok, so what's special about my character? I'm more serious. Actually, I've been to a real courtroom to see real lawyers and I don't think I look like a real lawyer. Because a real lawyer doesn't have to read 2 pages for closing statement, and can't even look at the cheat-notes. This is impossible.






SL - (02-12-01) Character's Photos

Ray: (looking in the mirror fixing hair) Hi. My name is "Lowk Bun". Usually, like a poor lawyer, but today (touches his hair) we're trying out our character's image, dress up a bit. My character's personality? Family-oriented, although you can't tell, in a very poor-looking law firm as a little laywer.

Sammul: I, Vincent, will soon become a big lawyer. I know that all this time Jessica likes me. I can't help it, I already have someone in mind.

Bernice: Hey everyone, am I pretty? I'm Jessica. Will Vincent like me? We're both lawyers, but I think he doesn't even know who I am. You guys help me!

Myolie: I'm "Ling", you can tell I'm a righteous [?] lawyer. My new look has good lawyer potential. Although on the outside it seems like I'm very cold and hard to get close to, but inside I have a ball of hot fire that hopes to help people.

Juno: Hello. Does my image look okay? In the series I play a delivery boy. Don't mistake that my delivery-boy image means I'll be a delivery boy throughout the whole series. The first half I'm a delivery boy, the second half I work in a law firm and slowly developes the love of law.

there's two handsome guys, one called Raymond Lam the other is Sammul Chan happily walking. Why? [it's cute how Ray wraps his arm around Sammul's arm, like close buddies...but two guys...hmm]. Everytime they have to come here, they know this way very well see? why? What is this place? Don't have to guess, K100 will tell you. Zoom in! Photography department. That's right. You haven't seen this place, it's TVB's photography room. After trying out their character's image or seeing reporters, every actor/actress will come her to take a picture for record. Do you know what the pictures are used for? - The pictures are used for props in the series and for make-up and hairstylists to use as reference. And the pretty posters are done this way, and it's digital technology to have a great outcome and everyone will be happy.
