Henne moving up depth chart
8/11/08 AP Miami Florida- "He's been very impressive" said wide receiver Ernest Wilford. Chad Henne has moved his way up the depth chart with some good training camp play. With the signing of QB Chad Pennington it looks like number 2 on the depth chart is as far as he'll get. But if Pennington proves to not have what it takes to lead this team dont be suprised if Henne is thrown into the starting role. With a month left before the regular season opener against the New York Jets the Dolphins will have to cut there QB's from 4 to 3 with Pennington being one that leaves Henn,Beck and McCown. You can expect Henne to stay as he was a draft pick of Parcells watch for the battle against Beck and McCown to be a good one. Pennington will start tommorow's preseason game vs Tampa Bay but look for Henne and the gang to get alot f work tommorow. Check back for more up to date news.
Favre vs Pennington
8/8/08 AP Miami Florida- Talk about a great way to open the 2009 Dolphins season. Before a week ago this was just a game between two of 2008's worst teams now its a battle between a Jets team lead by Brett Favre and a Dolphins team led by Chad Pennington. "They did what they thought they needed to do to make the team better. I enjoyed my time in New York and now I'm here to lead the Miami Dolphins into the future." Pennington said at a news conference following the signing. When asked if he was thinking of opening day he said "I'm just looking forward to being the teams starting QB.
