| Similar Helmets | ||||||||||
| This is one of the most famous Olmec heads ever uncovered. It currently resides at La Venta Park, in the Mexican state of Villahermosa. Its Negroid nose is what made it famous but if you take a close look at it you can see it�s wearing a helmet that�s almost identically similar to this other one. The other one is a Sumerian helmet that currently is lost, missing or stolen from the Iraqi National Museum. It dates from the early dynastic period of Sumeria. | ||||||||||
