Taxco
Taxco, Mexico is famous for its silver. We were set loose on Tono's Plateria. This is a silver store that has been friends with Nuestra Cabana for many years. They gave us an explanation of silver, and how to send it back if it turns out it's fake! Girls with Nuestra Cabana got a 20% discount if they paid in cash and a 10% discount if paid with check/credit card.
I bought a silver cross with a dark green stone and a silver chain to go with it for myself. For my mum, I bought a sunstone (the aztec calendar) pendant and a silver chain. Mercedes bought me a ring that I really wanted, because I had decided I didn't want to spend any more money. She surprised me with it as a gift on the bus home. Isn't that sweet? *Huggles*
A view of Taxco. The bus stopped at this scenic viewpoint for pictures.
A stunning view of Taxco from inside the city.
A group picture outside the city. We're all looking at a different camera! From left to right: Abigail (who doesn't look very thrilled), myself, Amanda, Mercedes, and Danielle.
The girls walk single-file to the cathedral, herded by various staff members.

As the group heads back to the bus, the driver in a passing car flips off some girls from Lafayette (intentionally or not, nobody knows).
