A last glance of Chapultepec Park. You can see many people enjoying the warm summer day and taking a stroll. There is a huge monument in the background dedicated to six young cadets who sacrificed themselves (jumping off of the palace) rather than surrender to the US Marines who were about to take Mexico City in 1847. |
