My problem is that it is mysteriou how this one dvd disc with all the different file types turn into 1 Real Player file. I did the same burning on other dvd disc that same day without this problem. All the other disc are still intact. So I do not understand this "strange" problem. I was using the evaluation version of some other recovery softwares, and I see that these files are still on the discs. Unfortunately, I did not save them to the clipboard, and click the prompt that came up and they disappear. I have tried these software again and cannot access them again. I will keep trying, and I'll try the software you suggest. I have written already, but received no response. I was burning data onto a dvd+rw disc, and I press Alt+Ctrl+Delete to stop the process because the drive was making funy noises. At the same time, the window came up to state the burn process was completed. However, there is only 1 file on the disc now andit\\\'s a .wav file. All other files and folders (text, word, zips, etc) is not there. I had also press play in the nero window before burning. The History log for the 27th is now no longer on my computer, so I did not attach anything. Why did this happen?
