The time has come and we have said good bye
The love is gone and we don't even wonder why
Days have passed and we learn to forgive but never forget
For we still think of that first time our eyes met.

What happened to the once talked about fairytale dream
Did it fade away in some unknown un-played scheme
Where is the prince that I wanted him to be
While he wishes for the princess in me.

You escape to a place so warm and knowing
Back within your heart where you know love is continually growing
To sit and think what could have been
Yet knowing that the love we shared was not a sin.

We start again more slowly this time
For the feelings and emotions you want to shine
For I never knew what love could do
It was something in my heart that I never knew.

To take it slow and take our time we chance
The one true love and magnitude of the everlasting dance
The blue horizons are yours if you want it to be
