You have watched me suffer with a broken heart
When I cried mom you were there to cry with me
Mom, you always know just what to say
Through the strength I see in you, I carry on

And since that time you have watched me grow
Through pigtails, makeup and many a frown
You never gave up on me mom, you never let me down.
And taught me with each end there is always a new start
You were there for me each time I got pregnant
And helped me through each new segment.
And when we were done you helped me see

And let me realize with strength there are fears.
Because of your kindness and your loving way
I don't know where I would be in life today mom
Now I know where I get courage and family devotion from.
Knowing you will always be there from dusk til dawn
And when we laugh and cry or just walk and talk together

It's quite obvious that your family is important to you
And that unconditional love is what you hold true
