JACQUIE, you have become a special friend to me
Even when you become a second mother you see
You have a way about you and a special touch
That everyone can see, you show that side so much.

You are strong and firm yet kind and giving
To all of your friends no matter where they are living
You have been there for me through thick and thin
I want to say so much, where do I begin?

When I have portrayed my attitude you continually say
Check that attitude in at the door today
When I have been down and feeling blue
You have always been there helping me through.

Even when you act as mom and give your advice
I know it is because you care and I don't have to think twice
And that is because of this special friendship that is there
Life without my dear friend just wouldn't be fair.

So I am saying thank you, Jacquie, for your special way
Of giving me the gift of your friendship today
You are very important to me
A true friend I will always be.
