Eskimo 1967-69, Style #723

Eskimos
These Eskimos are excellent examples of the variations one may find in Madame Alexander dolls, even those released for one or two years. Both wear a red felt hooded parka trimmed with 'fur' to keep warm, although one uses red/green stitching for decoration while his brother has blue/white. Yellow/white stitching has also been employed. Black pants cuffed with 'fur' on one fellow, while the other is fur-free. Both have red boots. While this picture doesn't show it, one came with a spear resembling a toothpick; the other carries an arrow instead.

Their hair is an unusual color, a tannish blond. They have dark skin, dark eyes, and orangy lips. The Eskimos here are bent knee non-walkers with the Wendy face; Eskimo also uses the Maggie face (more variety!).
