August 9, 1993 - First meeting



One Day Club Conventions Our Club Has Hosted:

August 1994 - First time the Dogwood (Vancouver) Barbie Doll Club came over for a visit.
Our first mini-convention.

September 16, 1995 - "Tea in Victoria for Barbie Brides & Friends".
The Dogwood Barbie Doll Club visits, mini-convention.

September 20, 1997 - "Barbie's Bad Hair Day" Mini convention.

September 23, 2000 -"Autumn Fantasy 2000"
The Dogwood Barbie Doll Club visits, mini-convention.

One Day Conventions Hosted by our Members in Nanaimo and Parksville, B.C.

March 20, 1999 - "Barbie's Easter Parade" Club members only.    [view here]

April 15, 2000 - "April Showers - May Flowers" Club members only.

April 21, 2001 - "A Barbie Rock N'Roll Revival" Club members only.



Miscellaneous Events:

December 3 & 4th, 1994 - Club display at the Weekend Showcase:
Toys and Dolls exhibit at the Royal British Columbia Museum.

June 25 & 26th, 1999 - Club display at Hillside Mall Shopping Centre.



Fashion Pak Competitions:
Each member is given a Pak of the items to use for the contest; fabrics, trims, notions, etc.
They have to try and include as many items from the pak as possible.
Categories of judging include:
1. Best Use of Material - to be judged by a non-club member.
2. People's Choice - Each person votes by writing the doll number they prefer on a piece of paper.
The most popular number is the winner.
