Global Warming: Abandoned the Kyoto treaty; supports minimal and voluntary reductions in carbon emissions.
Public Lands: Cut back on federal land purchases; proposed "Healthy Forests" plan to log more trees on federal lands; limited the amount of land eligible for wilderness protection.
Health Care: Bush would modernize Medi-care, improve health-care quality and patient safety through litigation reform, promote Medical Savings Accounts and push legislation that would allow small businesses to band together to provide health care to their employees.
Education: Successfully pushed for passage of the No Child Left Behind Act, creating education standards and accountability for each state. Advocates overhauling Head Start with $203 million increase in funding in 2004, plus $5 million for administrative support. Wants program to require half its teachers to have college degrees by 2008.
Bush Tax Cuts: Tax relief is the best way to lower the unemployment rate
Women's Right to Choose: Signed "partial-birth" abortion ban. Proposes increased funding for abstinence education to prevent abortions.
War with Iraq: President Bush supported and carried out the war against Iraq.

opinion: I 'm turning 18 this June that means I can finally vote this november^^ anywho George W. Bush is the best president we've had since his dad was in office, he has done SOOOO much for this country and other countries. Thanks to him the people of Iraq are FREE! and though men have died they have not died in vain! they will live on, in our hearts. also, these other candidates are NOT true candidates, it's gotten to a point where winning the right to be president of The United States of America is nothing but a rat race, of tearing the current president down of all he's done, and saying horrible things about other candidates it's seemingly no longer about the people but about how big and important the candidates are, My point is even though i was not a supporter of Clinton ot Gore I NEVER torn them down or made bad remarks for they were still the president & vice president of the good old USA. So I guess in short I would have to say may we ALL vote George W. Bush ..... ALL THE WAY!!! God Bless America & it's people �
