| Laura practices for what she thinks is, possibly, a new calling: In her next life, she wants to be a figurehead. There are worse places to be than the bow of the Barefoot'n on a fine summer's day. Might not be such a bad idea. |

| Vaughn (Deel) and Sueanne (Doyer) seem to prefer the view from the stern, however. Let's see, if Laura is trying to be the figurehead, I guess that means they want to be...oh, never mind. |

| I believe, at the time, we are singing (again) the only sea shanty anyone on the boat knew: "What Do You Do With a Drunken Sailor?" (Actually we made up quite a lot of verses that you probably don't want to know...) |

| Vaughn toasts our hosts with the boats: Steve Papkey (piloting) and wife Val (what a cook!). At least I think that's what he's doing. He might just be getting shellacked. |
