Most Outstanding
Dr. Kenneth Kawashima - Served as the band director at Dole from 1983-1985.  Prior to this, Dr. Kawashima taught band at Kalani High School and later became the director of the Royal Hawaiian Band.  The final performance of each year includes  the presentation Dr. Kenneth Kawashima Memorial Award, which is symbolic of exellence, humility, and perserverance and given to the Most Outstanding Advanced Band Member.
