DoL/PoR Alliance Treaty
These are the terms of the Alliance between The Dreamers of Light and the Protectors of Radiance as per the Leaders and Ambassadorial Factions of both Houses
Section One: Teaching

I. General Teaching

A.) Teachers of both Houses are encouraged to task and train members of the allied House.
1.) Student's worthiness and the Teacher's right to refuse any student are still valid reasons for refusal as per the Teaching Oath.
B.) Both Houses agree that the  training of Freesouls endangers the Illuminate Brethren, the Unawakened, and the Dreamcity as a whole.
1.) If a Teacher from either house trains a known Freesoul, for whatever reason, the treaty will become null and void, if proper reprocussions are not dealt with the teacher in their own house.

II. Sphere Tasking

A.) The Radiance and The Light both have differing rules when handling Sphere tasking.

1.) Protectors of Radiance

a.) The Protectors of Radiance require all members to bring in a specified amount of essences and/or Items and to perform specified house duties before obtaining a task for spheres 1st through 3rd.
b.) If a Teacher of the Light is sought out by a student from the Radiance to task for one of these spheres, the student will be required to present a completion codex ( of the afore mentioned duties) from an authorized member of the Radiance before a task will be given.

2.) Dreamers of Light

a.) The Dreamers of Light require an interview for Spheres 4th and above to deem readiness of the student for the responsibilities that lie ahead before a task for these spheres can be aquired.
b.) If a Teacher from the Radiance is sought out by a student of the Light to task for one of these spheres, the student will be required to present a completion codex of interview approval from an authorized member of the Light before the task is given.

Section Two: War Aid

I. Defensive Allies

A.) Members of both Houses will defend either House as if it were their own under ALL circumstances. This includes but is not limited to, Dark Mares, Day Mares, War Time, and Rogue Dreamers in general. This is mandatory.
B.) Ambassadorial Members to opposing Houses are not giving immunity under any circumstance.

II. Offensive Tactics

A.) If a War is started, by either allied house, Offensive measures by the House as a whole will only be taken if and when the allied houses requests it, and the Leaders agree to the offensive aid.
B.) Members of the House not directly involved in the War will not be reprimanded if they choose to aid their allied Illuminate Brethren in an offensive attack.

Section Three: Brotherly Respect

I. In the City

A.) Members of both respected Houses are to treat the brethren from the allied house as they would their own house members. Joking around is one thing, to belittle and to be insulting with our brethren is another. We all have our disagreements, but when a decision is made, it is to be supported. Further inquiries will be dealt with in a mature and *private* manner.

II. Public Scrolls

B.) The rules for in the City, should be followed for on the Public scrolls as well, just because you insult someone on paper does not make it any better than if you were to do it in the city. In fact in my opinion, it is worse for it can be read over and over again and has the opportunity to be viewed by all.

Section Four: Open Door Policy (still in limbo)

I. House Steps

A.) Being allies is like being the illuminated family we are. Members of Allied houses are welcome to stand on the House Steps of their respected Allies. This allows for easier defense and protection when sudden attacks occur. It also helps give a sense of unity for the illuminated brethren we are.

II. Entrance to Allied Houses

A.) Entering the Allied House freely is a perk to this Alliance. It is not to be abused. This should be allowed when a member from an allied house is seeking a member inside the House and noone is out front to greet or to inform them they have visitors.  This can become very convienant if there is huge trouble, that needs to be dealt with immediately or would even allow the brethren to attend each others House meetings and allow the alliance to grow closer together and make for a strong unity.
B.) Abusing this priviledge will be dealt with swiftly. Members of Allied houses have no business being inside the fellow allied house if no members of that house are presently home. This priviledge is just that.. a priviledge and should be used only as needed and as a bonus perk for meeting attendance.

Conclusion - All sections of this treaty have been agreed upon and signed EXCEPT section four which is still being discussed. Sections One through Three should be upheld and carried out by members of both Allied Houses.
