Goril's Room & Anelinde's Prison
As told by: Minuette
Author's Note: In the Lower Cairn of Sorrows are several rooms of note: The Sanctuary contains twin rivers, one chalk and one abyss. Just past Elvil-Gang's Temple lie Goril's Room and Anelinde's Prison. Here, thanks to Ghazgkull, Nziri and Munchkin, are the story of those rooms, as requested by FLUSHY.

Goril was Anelinde's father....their entire family was Awakened and they believed the Dream to be the only true existance (their lives in Cloudsbreak consisted of eating and doing minimal exercise to maintain their health). When Goril's wife was killed in the DreamStrike Offensive, he took Anelinde and retreated to the Cairn of Sorrow...thinking he could protect his daughter there. He did his best to entertain her, but he would never allow her to leave as he feared for her safety.

Being a young child, Anelinde wanted desperately to venture out of the Cairn to see what the rest of the Dream was like. Seeing the pain it was causing her, Goril allowed her to leave....just once...provided she return before the Sable Moon set...When Anelinde did not return on time, it drove Goril mad...the thought of losing the only thing he had left in the world - his daughter - was too much to bear. He took Anelinde to a room that was not often traversed and Warded her in, the strength of his madness making the Ward permanent.

For years Anelinde suffered in loneliness...and Goril's pain nearly equaled her own. She died there in her Prison...of loneliness and utter despair.

Goril was so distraught and guilt ridden at his daughter's death and what he had done to her that he died of hearthbreak. Their blood flows through the twin rivers, symbolic of the heartbreak of possessive love.
