| Up until about my 3rd sphere, I had heard people speak about "Good Gens", and I always wondered what exactly defines a good gen? Is it dreamers preference? Items that generate? So I began my own personal study, and upon my 5th sphere I was named as a gen master of the city. I found that a "good gen" all depends on what you are looking for. Many say that there are 3 levels of gens, i personally like to say there are 3 "types" not levels because "levels" would assume one was better than another. This just is not the case, depending on what you are looking for.. Here I will give you some information on how to tell exactly whether or not a gen is gonna spawn what you are looking for and how to tell just by looking at the first item that spawns. | Here are three kinds of gens you will find in the city. You will see that if you find a certain kind of elemen, you will know what kind of alts and chaks the gen will spawn as well and vice versa. |

| Alterors vary so much that it is extremely hard to document exact info on them but for this type of gen you will only find really crappy alterors. You will not find many seasoned dreamers at this kind of gen, but what many do not realize is that this is an excellent gen for young dreamers. This is the only kind of gen that spawns charms!! (Inconsequently This gen only generates one or the other charms or chaks, so that could actually be considered a 4th type of gen but the elems and alterors are the same.) And the elems are actually pretty decent for the younger dreamers. |

| This is what I like to call a "well-rounded" gen. At this gen not only do you get the best chakrams, that have affects, this gen also spawns the best alterors with up to 20-40 minute duration. The elemens are moderate but still decent. Though this is also where you will find that pure abyss shield you are looking for. In my opinion these gens are the only ones to gen for shields at. No charms generate here. |

| This is the best Elemen gen around. Though the chakrams and alterors are only decent, and the shields are pretty crappy, the elemens you can find at this gen can be up to giving you a flat rate of +35. Though this gen is not limited to only the flat rate elemens, you can determine the flat rates by their second color. 2nd colors as follows: |
| Earth (+25) Abyss (+25) Tan (+30) Beige (+35) |
| So for review.. If you find a berry chalk chakram, you know that the gen you are at has the ability to spawn a +35 elem. If you find an earth blood elem, you know that the gen you are at has the ability to spawn 20-40 minute alterors. For more information on Talismans and ways to identify them.
