Now Caitrin is a lively lass
And at cooking she is great
In fact, her food's so fine and grand
It's the wonder of the State!

She's known for cakes and goodies
And other tasty treats
She'll even cook some Slovak food
And make sure everyone eats!

But Caitrin's got these cookies--
Oh, how should I begin?
The taste it is so gosh-darned good
With just one bite--you'll grin.

Because her secret recipe
Contains a secret drop
Of some Hawaiian Kahlua
That's sure to make you hop!

Now something alcoholic
Isn't something you often see
As ingredients in cookies
But they sure taste good to me!

And oh, the strange reactions
Her cookies have had on
The populace in general
I now will speak upon

These cookies have been know to warm
The worst curmudgeon's heart
And folks with tempers flaming rage
Calm feelings do impart.

They could make the ice on 10th Street
Melt NC summer's humidity-free
And cause marauding hurricanes
Turn back out into the sea!

Rising waters sink back down
When her cookies are around
And there's are reliable rumour
They've broke the speed of sound!

So you can see these cookies
Are quite extraordinary--
And the word of advice I give to you
Is make some now, and hurry!
