November begins with a powerful New Moon at 9deg43 Scorpio, setting the
stage for a month of intense, complicated, deceiving, and sometimes confusing events. With Jupiter and the New Moon in magnetic Scorpio, the way is open to
new beginnings in love and financial matters. The powerful and obssessive passions aroused by last month�s meeting of Venus with Pluto are still strong in the picture, and some may experience irresistible � and possibly forbidden - attractions and overwhelming longings, as with Saturn and Neptune squaring the New Moon, difficult obstacles are still to be faced and the feelings of frustration may sometimes reach unbearable levels. This is the moment when karmic debts are paid the hard way, as this aspect spells pure karma through frustration. However, the trine to Uranus brings a ray of hope that a solution can be found and things will eventually take a turn for the better, even if this implies making use of less than orthodox methods. This is a difficult moment for monetary matters too, involving financial worries, confusions, deceptions and blockages of all kinds.
Disturbing news, secrets disclosed leading to sexual and financial scandals, lies, fraud, bankruptcy are all part of the picture, as well as a high potential for extremely violent events and accidents.
The interval between November 5th and 10th deserves special attention, when events happen against the background set by the Fixed Grand Cross created by 4 planets in fixed signs : the Sun in Scorpio, Neptune in Aquarius, retrograde Mars in Taurus and Saturn in Leo. The 1st Quarter Moon of November 9th opens a week when difficult situations start showing signs of improvement. With Venus recently entered the cool, reserved and practical sign of Capricorn, and favourably aspected by Jupiter, Uranus and Mars, affairs of the heart enter a much calmer and more satisfactory phase. Surprising news and unexpected meetings bring about the chance to have a much needed clarifying discussion. Out of the blue declarations of love and ever-lasting devotion may be on the cards for some now. Take them with a grain of salt however and beware of making any promises, as in a few days things will start looking differently, and people may change their mind or simply forget what they promised . The same goes for business and financial arrangements.
This is also the moment when you can take a step forward and expect some favourable developments in a situation, state of things or relationship that was initiated around the New Moon of February 9th this year.
Mercury turns retrograde on November 14th, providing a much needed time for reassessing and rethinking the recent events, decisions and actions. This is not a good time to sign any papers, and new contracts and business agreements should better be postponed until after December 4th, when Mercury resumes direct motion. As usual with Mercury retrograde periods, we can expect communication and transportation problems, computer crashes and all kinds of technical malfunctions. Under the present planetary configuration it is advisable to back-up your files and protect your computer against viruses. Hacker attacks are a real possibility now. This is definitely not the good moment to buy new electronics, cars or computers, but in case you do, make sure that you get a longer warranty period.
The Full Moon of November 16th occurs at 23deg46 Ta, the degree that Mars occupied before starting its retrograde motion early last month. Decisions taken at that time may not look so bright now, and some may wonder what they were thinking when they decided to back out in a financial or amorous situation, seeing how bad things are now, and having to cope with frustration, regrets and emotional torment. With both Venus and Jupiter beautifully aspected by Uranus which turns direct the same day,there are however real chances of putting things right and you can expect some very pleasant surprises regarding love and money matters if you take the right steps. Mercury retrograde fully supported by Saturn and square Uranus will provide the occasion to go over past issues and say the right words � a heart-felt �I�m sorry� would be a good start!
On long-range term developments, this November 16th Full Moon may bring a matter up for consideration related to a financial deal or love relationship which started around May 19th last year and may have involved some tough decisions, heartache and possibly a separation or loss of some kind. Now would be a very good moment to start mending things. By August 16th next year you will have a clear idea about how well you dealt with this situation.
Two astrological events occur on November 21st , setting the tone for an eventful and stressful end of the month. Mars and Jupiter step into opposition, stimulating courage and bold initiative, enticing us to be more daring, put aside fear and ignore any possible risks in whatever we set our mind to do. As if trying to cool us down and give us time to think before rushing into action, Saturn turns retrograde the same day and firmly puts the breaks on. The next day the Sun changes signs, entering adventure-loving Sagittarius.
The Last Quarter Moon of November 24th occurs in a difficult and intense T-square configuration, with the Moon in oposition to Uranus, and both squared by the Sun-Mercury retrograde conjunction. Unexpected news, a sudden revelation or a hidden element emerging now can make us realize that the bold actions planned a few days ago will have to wait some more time before becoming possible. All set to make us think things through, take our time and ponder on the best way of action, Saturn steps in and creates a second T-square configuration the same day, by squaring the Mars-Jupiter opposition. Action time will thus have to be postponed for a while, until after January 12th 2006, to be more exact.
We may also have to deal now with the last act and try to have a clearer image about how we stand in a relationship, situation or state of things which started two years and three months ago (end August 2003) under the sign of the unexpected, with surprising events and sudden decisions, which powerfully re-emerged around end May last year, and reached a culminating moment around February 24th this year.
November ends on this tense note of blocked action, while frustrations keep building up, but we shall hopefully find the inner strength and wisdom to accept the temporary setbacks and patiently wait for better times to come. |
