Threaded Disscusion 1

I agree with this article. I think that nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare is one of the worlds single most problems. I mean your right for saying that Iraq has been left alone for 4 years and we have no idea of what they have been doing. Saddam Hussein has and still is capable of creating these weapons of mass destruction. And I think that if these weapons got to in the wrong hands like Saddam or Al Qaeda could mean global destruction and major wars fought. But I believe that before any of this could happen it would start out with a ground assault. But if these leaders were ever to feel threatened by any nation I dont think that they would ever hesitate to use these weapons against other countries. If Saddam and Al Qaeda have these weapons then I think that they would use them at all costs. And I believe that if they do have these weapons then it could lead to something very devastating. It would bring upon something to this world that no man has ever seen. I whish that these people dont have these kind of weapons and I hoe that they will never have them. I hope they will never have them so they cant use in some sick and twisted way.

I believe that the single most significant global problem is hatred. I think that hatred is the globes single most problems because no matter where you look you either see or hear about people doing things because of hatred. Hatred is every where you look. An example is the Israeli Palestinian conflict. Their fighting because of their hatred for one another, and it has become so great that they no longer have remorse for what they do. Unfortunately hatred could also lead to the end of civilization as we now it. If people keep on fighting and killing out of pure hatred then civilization as we now it is doomed. I hope personally that humanity finds a way to control their anger and use different ways of solving problems instead of mass murder or global war fare. I hope that the human civilization dose this not only for themselves but for the future human race to. I also hope that in my time I will be able to watch the news read the paper with out it saying that a group of people or a person died because of a hate crime or because of hatred from someone else. And I think that the human race owes it to themselves to stop hatred but I also know that it is human nature to hate things or even people and that asking for that to change is something that will probably never happen. But I hope one day it could so I would know that im livening in a safe world and I wouldnt have to fear war or attacks.
