This is going to be a work in progress of what's been growing in the backyard over the last few years. As I gather the palms, on different sizes, they'll be classified on this page and offered for sale here and on Ebay. If you want to buy one or two, let me know in an email to Marty. I use Pay Pal to collect. Just remember to type in my email address when you get to Pay Pal (email address is [email protected]). Before you purchase , let me know in an email so that you pay the right amount. I also have a Palm Message Board that I've been trying to get people to use on a regular basis but people tend to be shy for some reason. Here it is below.

Go green, grow a plant for a hobby. Aa cheap way to get a cool hobby.

The following links are being updated and should be completed in a few weeks. New pictures and plants will be displayed and quite a few will be available for sale. Check here and on Ebay for what will be offered for sale.

Additional Information
Palms A growing section that gets bigger day by day.
Palm Maintenance A little start on maintaining your palm.
Cycads Pleasant addition to the garden but having trouble with "Snow scales". They literally attack the cycad and suck the life out of the leaves on the cycad. had to cut back the plant until I get a fool proof remedy to control the "Snow scale".
Flowers It's South Florida and I can't believe the numbers of different flowers that can grow in this environment. You learn fast what will take full sun and what will not. Enjoy the colors of the many Hibiscus plants from cuttings.
Garden Database A winter project of all the plants that Dougherty grows in the backyard.
Other Plants As with the other plants, quite a few from collecting palm seeds. If I see something unusual, I'll try and get a cutting or a seed.
Back Yard Enjoy some of the palms and other plants that made it to the planting area of the back yard.
Garden Links Some great links for the palm grower.
Garden Creatures Some of the little things that come with gardens. Maybe not your garden but a few gardens in South Florida.
