Introduction to Dougherty's Garden - Garden Index
This is going to be a work in progress of what's been growing in the backyard over the last few years. As I gather the palms, on different sizes, they'll be classified on this page and offered for sale here and on Ebay. If you want to buy one or two, let me know in an email to Marty. I use Pay Pal to collect. Just remember to type in my email address when you get to Pay Pal (email address is [email protected]). Before you purchase , let me know in an email so that you pay the right amount. I also have a Palm Message Board that I've been trying to get people to use on a regular basis but people tend to be shy for some reason. Here it is below.

My pride and joy and almost back to what it looked like before the hurricanes (Francis, Jeanne, and Wilma) of the last two years. The palm with the blue grey leaves are from a Bismarckia nobilis palm my son gave me as a gift.
Some Solitaire palms to the left of the Washingtonia palm.

You can tell that I have a soft spot for the Solitaire palm. All of this was started from seeds or seedlings that I grew from seeds.

A Phoenix reclinata to the left of the Washingtonia robusta. The little tree to the left was taken out by hurricane Wilma in 2005.
The following links are being updated and should be completed in a few weeks. New pictures and plants will be displayed and quite a few will be available for sale. Check here and on Ebay for what will be offered for sale.
