| Annie was a happy little puppy who was born a stray. When she was 6 weeks old her and her brothers and sisters were brought to the local animal shelter. One by one each of them were adopt until little Annie. Finally it was her time, a family of four adopted her and she had a home. Playful, cute, curious, Annie was everything a puppy should have been. About two weeks after arriving at her new home she began to feel sick. As soon as the family suspected something was wrong they brought Annie to the vet where she was diagnosed with Parvo. The family loved Annie and gave her all the veternary care possible, but little Annie was too weak. One week after the treatment began, she became very ill. Unable to move, even lift her own head, she was barely alive. The family knew there was only one thing left to do to help Annie. As they comforted, she gazed up at them with her marble eyes as if crying. Then her tiny chest stopped moving and her pain was over. Little Annie will always be loved and remembered. By: H.S. |
