| DOGSTOOTH 777 were formed in VINES BIOCRIN, an abandoned shampoo factory in Hackney 2002. Their stated mission is to keep music live and free and get you drinking and dancing. Favourite venues to do this are: The Ruskin Arms, Manor park(East Londons #1 metal venue) The Lord Cecil in Clapton , The Hobgoblin, Holloway Rd.& UNIT C on HACKNEY DOWNS. They have been rocking with the current line up since Jan 2003. Here's a brief biog. so you know a bit about the guys: Mark is the solid bass player who holds it all together. He's worked hard for many years on the free festival scene giving many people the opportunity to experience free festivals like Stonehenge, without the commercial shit you get these days. He has crafted his distinctive bass sound into the DOGSTOOTH genre, and has also made some classic psychedelic electro with HEX PROJEKTA, and spacerock with <NUKLI> He has a new FENDER precision bass, which first rocked the dogstooth set at ANDRE St.Hackney sept 30-2006. Paul is the drummer who plays the fast beats between the fast beats. He has recorded at Abbey Rd. studios and played his first gig with DOGSTOOTH on his 17th birthday. He likes Rammstein, ACDC, strong weed, and real ale. Paul is developing his onstage MCing skills and is now singing lead vocals on DUMB INSOLENCE. He also plays drums with HARMACY. He's got 3 drumkits and uses Zildjian cymbals. He has just celebrated the birth of his first child, a boy called Paul. Jon is the songwriter and guitarist. He likes drag racing and has done the quater mile at Santa pod in 11.7 seconds on Yamaha ThundercatYZF600R. His new guitar is a Kramer Baretta, two humbuckers, 24 frets, Floyd Rose locking trem. Custom painted Maltese cross by Elementd'art. The first song written using this guitar was RIGHT to DIE.He is currently exporting Speed Rock to Nottingham, and hoping to play GREEN METAL in europe 2007. |
