Other info:
As a human he was named onigumo. He then turned into a hanyou by allowing a horde of demons to consume him. In return he would be given a whole new body. It was then that the demons ate onigumo alive(O__O) and molded their bodies together. Thus creating the hate-ful naraku.
Since then, Naraku holds a spider shaped scar on his back that was once on onigumo.
