(or things we could learn from a dog)

“There are some simple truths… and the dogs know what they are”

Joseph Duemer (b. 1951)

  • Run, Romp and Play Daily.
  • Always run to greet loved ones when they come home.
  • Take joy rides often.
  • Its not how someone looks, its how their bum smells that’s important.
  • Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
  • Take naps and stretch before rising.
  • Be loyal
  • When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
  • On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
  • When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
  • Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
