| This little fella may look cute enough that you might think you'd NEVER get mad at him. BUT... the fact is you will. Before you take something like this home think.... are you really ready for the commitment that it takes to keep a puppy. Puppies need attention ALL the time. Are you really ready for the cleanup, the pee, the poop, the toilet paper, the newspaper. Are you really willing to sacrifice your favorite shoes and sometimes your walls and furniture!! For some puppies it may take 3 - 4 months before they are completely housebroken and ready for obedience training. Are you willing to be patient that long for your puppy to catch on and learn to Hold it? |
| If you don't think you have the time and patience it takes for a puppy ... don't lose hope. There are lots of adult dogs who need good homes. I myself often rescue dogs who have been dumped and forgotten. Sometimes they have been abused, beaten, neglected and god knows what else these dogs have been through. But thanks to the effort of loving foster homes these dogs learn to trust and love again. They also learn basic obedience, housetraining, and good manners.
