Notes:
1) The –xx after a unit number indicates I’ve heard two or three digits following the unit number, apparently indicating the individual officer.
2) To the best of my knowledge, Howard Township does not have an actual PD, but instead contracts with the county for police services. I believe they have a black sheriff’s cruiser that is used specifically for their area. Silver Creek Township used to have a separate vehicle many years ago, but I’m not sure if they still do; I’m also not sure if Marcellus PD still has their own vehicle.
3) Edwardsburg/Ontwa Township PD, Cassopolis PD, and Dowagiac PD all have their own vehicles (Chevy Impalas). Dowagiac also has at least one older Jeep Cherokee.
