| Welcome! My name is Cameron and I have worked with dogs for years in the animal control and care field. I have worked at local animal shelters as an Animal Control Officer, Humane Officer, Animal Care Attendant and Euthanasia Tech. The latter position was my least favorite job and caused me to ponder how I can best service the animal community. Some of my work involves behavior modification (your behavior) and general obedience. I understand the mind of the dog and what drives them to do what they do...Be dogs! I help people to understand dog behavior thus fostering a trusting human-animal bond. . I have always thought that a pet is for life. Yet, I understand that some dogs can have problems with aggression, fear, or health. Some of these problems can be created through poor breeding practices, early imprinted traumas, and lack of proper socialization. Not to mention, we can create behavioral problems in our dogs if we don't understand their social structure. We are enigmas to them and they respond to us just like they would with one another. They are pack (social) animals and you are apart of their pack. They need a benevolent and respectful leader. I can show you how to obtain such a position within your own pack. I have great admiration for all the rescue groups out there saving animals and rehoming them. Sometimes, they take in litters of unwanted puppies or kittens as well as saving older animals that can't be cared for anymore by their owners. They have funds for medical emergencies and low cost to no cost spay and neuter programs. On such program, The Community Assistance Program (CAP) offers a low cost spay and neuter program for animals owned by folks with low income within the State of New Mexico. If you would like more information on their program, please contact me. These non -profit organizations cannot survive without your help. Please help! Please make a donation to your favorite animal organization. I reside in beautiful New Mexico with my wife, step-daughter, and with our many furry four-legged and feathered two-legged friends. Life on the ranch keeps us very busy and our home is always open to animals needing rehoming. We work closely with other animal rescue organizations in hopes to find loving new homes for stray and unwanted pets. Background photo is of Chesie, who has since crossed the rainbow bridge. She was an awesome dog and great teacher. I will miss her... |
