Today, however, he had decided to resort to his old ways and laze on the beach with the hatchling and Carray. As the three basked in the sun, they heard the now-familiar whoosh of dragon wings, and Lynmari's white dragon landed on the beach. "'ello," she said, and Gishou awoke, blinking in the brightness. "Hey, do I know you?" Isaac asked teasingly, and the wood-elf smiled. She pulled fro inside her shirt a crystal on a chain. "Come here, you," she said to the hatchling, who had apparently fallen back asleep. Isaac handed her over, and Lynmari touched the crystal to the dragon's grey scales. Slowly Gishou began to grow, and a bright red color rippled out over her scales. After only moments, she had been obviously transformed, from a small, innocent hatchling, to a "the-world's-out-to-get-me" adolescent. Hopefully, thought Isaac, it will be different with a dragon. Carefully the newly grown dragon stretched her wings, testing her new muscles. "I don't think I mind too much," she informed Lynmari's dragon, and strode back over to Isaac. "What do you think?" "UGH!" he feigned. "It's horrible!" He turned to the elf. "Take her back!" The elf only shook her head, said "It's a no-can-do", and flew off. "Oh well," he said to Gishou. "I guess I'm stuck with you."
