Breakfast was eaten quickly, cereal for Rey and raw meat for Viri, then the pair headed down into the training cavern. A huge stone cave underground, the training caverns were filled with every imaginable training necessity. Their first stop was the obstacle course, to keep Viri up to par on his intelligence. It was a complex maze of tubes, tunnels, hurtles, all of which were rearranged on a daily basis to keep it difficult. Rey remained silent except for the occasional suggestion, but Viri managed to finish it in a record 3 minutes 12 seconds.

Next were simple laps; endurance was Viri's lowest stat (aside from luck, but there was no helping that >.<), and at the beginning of their sessions he could barely run three laps round the half-mile track before becoming exhausted. Today Rey wanted to double that.

"Okay, Viri... Let's go for six! Now, go! Nice and even, don't use up all your energy now! I didn't say walk, I said even! That's better. Keep going, try a little bit faster now, that's good! One lap, just five more..." A few minutes later, they were on lap number six. When he reached Rey, though, the green kept going! "Awright, you think you can do more? Let's see it! There's seven! Eight! Great job, that's nine!" Viri collapsed before Rey, panting heavily, but with a happy look in his eyes.

An hour or so later (Rey decided to let him rest a little), they were heavy into battle training. Quick whistles and shouts from Rey directed Viri's evrey move, and the pair were almost like one organism, working together. When Aubrey finally deemed the dummy "defeated" (it was in shreds on the ground, stuffing everywhere), they worked their way back up to the main house.
